In 2011 National Cancer Center created the Fighting Childhood Leukemia (FCL) program to provide additional research funding for the single most common form of cancer in children, leukemia. Childhood leukemias account for more than one-third of all new cases of cancer in children. Most of these cancers advance rapidly leaving children with little time for treatment. The FCL program will dedicate its funds toward finding a cure for these devastating diseases. These generous donors respond to a sweepstakes offer not only in the hopes of winning a prize but to provide financial support the research, support, education and advocacy necessary for the families affected by this disease.
